Terranu Wines 2019 Coonawarra Rose

Rose wine and Indian lentil dahl with homemade flatbreads – seriously what is not to like about that combo?
A big thank you to Terranu Wines for sending us over this sample of your 2019 Coonawarra Rose from South Australia to try.
I love finding great wine and food matches and this was one of them – the lovely fruit flavours in the wine shone just as brightly as the flavoursome spices of the dahl.

My Tasting Note
In the glass it’s a bright peach colour with highlighter orange flecks through it. On the nose there’s an abundance of peach, nectarine and raspberry notes with a bit of citrus and florals in there too. In the mouth it’s incredibly easy drinking and moreish-ly refreshing. Perfect for a hot summers day by the pool or with a dish with a bit of spice.
