Marri Wood Park 2020 Bratty Nat
Oh yes, I’m doing it, posting about another Pet Nat and oh boy this ‘Bratty Nat’ is so super delicious!
Thank you Marri Wood Park for sending this 2020 sample my way. I savoured ever last drop and definitely poured more in my glass than Mr Spittoon’s each time. I blame it on the wine making me bratty.
As explained on my previous Pet Nat tasting note, the fact that the wine is cloudy and unfiltered is completely normal. Pet Nat refers to sparklings which have been made in an ancient method which is more on the rustic side. It’s the adults version of cloudy apple juice.
Marri Wood Park are a boutique family run and owned Demeter certified bio-dynamic vineyard situated in Yallingup, Margaret River, WA.
As you can see it’s a cloudy yellow-peach colour in the glass. On the nose it’s deliciously spritzy with fresh apple, pear and citrus enticing you in for a sip. While in the mouth it’s downright yummy. Super textural, wonderfully refreshing and 100% tasty. More please!!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
