Bailey Wine Co 2019 Pinot Noir Rose – Mt Gambier
Pink sequins and rosé – seriously what’s not to like?
I treated myself to this gorgeous jacket from Little Party Dress to spice up my maternity wardrobe (yes I am currently a pregnant wine blogger!) I needed to replace my online wine shopping with something right!
This pretty as a picture 2019 Rosé sample we kindly received from Bailey Wine Co (thank you). It’s made from Pinot Noir fruit from Mt Gambier in South Australia. Here are Mr Spittoon and my notes on it:
It’s a really light copper colour in the glass. In fact Mr Spittoon likened it to the iPhone rose gold colour. On the nose I found it a bit earthy with red fruits and a hint of citrus. It definitely smells of Pinot! In the mouth it firstly comes across light and builds up. Lovely flavours of strawberry compote and it has a refreshingly acidic finish.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
