Wine Club Subscription

tc-online-wine-club-box-3I know this is a bit of self-promo here, but hey I am darn proud to have my very own monthly wine tasting box going out to all my awesome subscribers. Basically I have teamed up with the guys from The Wine Gallery to curate a 3-bottle box each month – it’s on a month-by-month basis with no lock in contracts so you can stop it at any time. This action would not be advised though J For more info, check out my #thetcwineclub page.

Porta Vino Tumblers

Porta Vino Plastic Sparkling Wine TumblerWe actually bought a couple of these for around the pool at our old house. They make me laugh to be honest – a rather hilarious gift for the wine lover who loves the outdoors and/or is super clumsy and breaks glasses all the time. They are plastic and double walled to keep your vino cooler for longer. There is a ‘Porta-Vino’ for wine, ‘Porta-Sparkle’ for champagne or the ‘Porta-Brew’ for beer. I have spotted them in Myer for around the $15 mark – available nationally in Australia.

Kookery Wine Totes

Kookery wine toteI love these gorgeous cotton reusable wine totes from local Perth designer, Kookery. There are 5 different designs, these include:

  • Wine Not?
  • Life is a Cabernet
  • Once Upon a Vine
  • Have Wine Bring Cheese
  • Vote for Pedro Ximenez

Personalised Wine labels

TC Wine Tour Special Release Wine - Tylers VineyardYes you read that right! The team at Tyler’s Vineyard offer free label making for purchases from their cellar door in the Swan Valley but also for wines purchased online for delivery (they offer free shipping to anywhere in Australia!). Simply upload your photo to the online order form and then the team will send you some proofs to check over prior to printing and putting onto your wines.

Blanc de Bleu – Sparkling Blue Wine

Blanc de Bleu Sparkling Wine from California, USAI am putting this on here because I tried this blue fantasy-land wine a few years back and I recently saw it for sale in DeVine Cellars on Beaufort St in Perth.

So I expect you can find it in a number of places across Australia.

It’s $50 at DeVine Cellars. Read my Blanc de Bleu tasting note.

Wine Glass Phone Cover

Red Wine Glass Phone CoverIf you’ve bumped into me at events then there is no doubt you’ve seen my red wine glass phone cover! It’s so cool and always gets the conversation flowing when people see it.

Plus the best bit is I ordered mine off eBay for about $1o including postage! It did come from China, so it took a good couple of weeks, so order this one asap!

Wine Bottle Lamp

DIY Wine Bottle Lamp InstructionsThis one is for the creatives and handyman’s out there! Lucky for me I have a handy-man in the house, and the lovely Mr. Spittoon made me an absolutely gorgeous champagne bottle lamp this year with his own hands! As he was working away so hard, I did try to put a ‘how to make a wine bottle lamp‘ blog post together – it’s a lot harder than I imagined however Mr. Spittoon had great fun putting it together!

Wine Glass Pens

Wine Glass Writer PensI absolutely love my pens that write on my wine glasses but also numerous other things around the house – they are very versatile.

Wine Jewelry by Proud PearlsI received my beautiful ‘champagne’ coloured bracelet as a gift and I adore it!

My one even has a little corkscrew on it which is very fitting! You can find out more about these lush wine bracelets here.

Tipsy – The Drinker’s Guide to Wine, Beer, Whisky, Gin, Sake & More

Tipsy by Clare BurderTipsy recently won the WCA Wine Book of the Year – which I am actually very eager to get my hands on too. It sounds great: “Full of savvy insider tips and handy shortcuts, this book is for anyone who’d like to know what they’re drinking without wading through the details. It’ll give you the background on your favourite drinks and explain the difference between pale ale and pilsner. It’ll help you pick wine for a posh dinner with your boss, or for a catch-up at that BYO dumpling restaurant. Full of the joy of adventurous drinking (and none of the snobbery), it might even awaken a new passion for whisky, gin or sake. Bottoms up!” Signed copies can be shipped from Melbourne for $30, find out more here.

Steady Sticks – Wine Glass Holders

Steady Sticks - Wine Glass Holders for PicnicsI have some of these myself and they are awesome for picnics and concerts.

Online store, Just In Time Gourmet has 2 packs of steady wine sticks for $25 a pop.
