Like father, like daughter. My Dad is as big, if not a bigger wino than myself.
He is by far the easiest person in my family to buy for and we’re both like little kids when opening the suspiciously wine bottle-shaped presents. I love shopping for my Dad and this year I just had so many ideas that I wanted to share them with you, just incase you haven’t got your present sorted yet (hint hint, Father’s Day is Sunday 1st of September 2024).

Grand Crew by Tom Crago Wine Book
Does your Dad love to read? I have just finished reading Grand Crew by Tom Crago and I loved it. It is a wine fiction book set mostly in Melbourne and it features a long list of amazing local wines. By the end of the book, your Dad will have a bucket list of Australian wines that he wants to try, trust me! Also make sure to check out these other wine fiction books that I highly recommend.
Wine Jigsaw Puzzle
Earlier this year my Dad, Mum and I completed a wine jigsaw puzzle from Water & Wines and we all had so much fun. There is the enjoyment of doing the puzzle but with these wine puzzles, you actually learn about wine geography as you go which I think is pretty cool!
Treat your Dad like a millionaire for the day. This gift hamper from Just In Time Gourmet in Perth yells luxury and class! With everything from Swan Valley wine to delectable nibbles, condiments, antipasto and coffee – you really can’t go wrong and if you’re lucky enough, perhaps Dad will share it with you! Just In Time Gourmet stock a range of foodie Father’s Day Hampers.
Good Pair Days Father’s Day Wine Gift Packs
Our fabulous friends at Good Pair Days bring out special Father’s Day wine gift packs every year. There really is something for every kind of wine drinking Dad! Therefore keep an eye on their wine special packs page for the 2023 gifts.
Or better yet, sign Dad up for a Good Pair Days Wine Subscription – trust me, you’ll definitely be his favourite after that 😉
Coravin Wine Preservation System
It’s no secret that I love my Coravin Model 6 and Coravin Pivot and I think they make a bloody good present for those who have a wine cellar. Or those who like to enjoy a bottle over multiple sittings without it going bad. If your Dad loves wine and tech / gadgets, then a Coravin is an absolute must in my books.
