Ca’Bolani DOC Prosecco
I’m one of those weirdos who buys a treadmill and actually uses it. Crazy I know. I think it might be because I probably* (*do) drink more than the average person so this is my minds way of justifying it. I aim for 5 workouts a week, if I miss one during the week then I’ll get stuck into it on the weekend and if this happens, it’s typically followed by some wine tasting.
In my opinion, Prosecco is a great post-workout drink. Please note I’m not a health profession and this is my own opinion.
I picked up this DOC Prosecco for about $16. Here’s some fun facts about it:
DOC is ‘Denominazione di Origine Controllata’ is a wine classification in Italy which tells us the producer had to stick to specific rules to make the wine, such as what grape varieties are used.
Prosecco is made from the Glera grape variety. You can read more about prosecco via my ultimate guide.
This Ca’Bolani Prosecco is a silver, nearly water white colour in the glass. Pears, grapes, lemon and honey blossom notes rise from the glass while in the mouth it’s crisp, delicate and moreishly pear-y.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
