Mumm 4 Ans Champagne (Limited Edition)

Happy #WineWednesday everyone! Milestones whether they’re in life or business should be celebrated. Which is why Mr Spittoon and I are having a little celebration this month for my business which has hit a record high this month. I love my happy clients.

We recently tried the Champagne G.H.MUMM Special Edition 6 year old and really enjoyed it, so we thought we’d try the 4 year old this time for $57 a pop. These special edition champagnes spend longer than normal on the lees which gives them more richness and complexity.

I find the 4 a pretty white gold colour in the glass with fresh spiced pear, lychee and a hint of brioche on the nose. While in the mouth it’s smooth, juicy and incredibly thirst quenching. A lovely champagne however I think I’d pick the 6 over the 4 if I had to.
