17 Trees by De Bortoli Wines Pinot Grigio
7 reasons to love 17 Trees by De Bortoli Wines.
Firstly before I dive in, thank you De Bortoli Wines Yarra Valley for this sample bottle and for sending the press release on ‘printable seeded paper’ which we can plant in the garden to grow the native Swan River Daisy Very cool touch!
Sustainably produced.
Vegan friendly.
1 tree planted for every 6 bottles sold.
The trees are to help rebuild the Australian bushland lost during the 2019-2020 bushfire season.
Lightweight recycled glass bottles.
Labels produced from natural fibre-based pulp derived from sugar cane waste.
Made by a family wine company on a quest to become a Zero Waste Wine Company.
My tasting note:
From the pale straw colour to the aromas of lemongrass, fresh pears and white flowers – it simply oozes with ‘come drink me vibes’. In the mouth it’s light yet juicy and extremely easy drinking. The perfect companion to our homemade pizza (including homemade bases and mozzarella).
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! iD Collective
