Introducing the new Mandala Wines 2018 Sauvignon Blanc from Victoria’s Yarra Valley which Mr Spittoon and I tried recently over a sunny bbq dinner.

The Sauv Blanc grapes for this white wine were handpicked from a single vineyard (Orchard Block) at Mandala’s Dixon Creek vineyard. The fruit was fermented at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks before being moved to old French oak barrels to build texture and complexity. Continue reading
