Punt Road Airlie Bank Brut NV Sparkling Wine
I admit it, I bought this Punt Road Airlie Bank Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut NV sparkling because I loved the label and I thought the cap would look brilliant in my Wearing Memories ring 😉
It’s a $20 bottle made from 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir from VIC’s Yarra Valley. A small portion of the grapes were barrel fermented to add character to the bubbles.
In 5 words I would say this fresh sparkler is full of:
- Orchard fruits
- Citrus
- Butter pastry
Thoroughly enjoyed by us and friends who helped us finish off the bottle rather quickly And I was correct in the assumption that the cap looks fantastic in my Wearing Memories ring (WM jewellery is exactly for this purpose – they’re lockets to house your favourite Champagne and Sparkling wine caps).
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
