Austin’s 2018 Pinot Noir – Geelong (Victoria)
With my parents visiting recently, naturally a few bottles of wine was consumed 😉 I find it’s really great to get the conversation going about what each wine is like as everyone has different taste buds and experiences with a wine.
This sample of the Austin’s 2018 Pinot Noir from Geelong (Victoria) I tasked my Dad and uncle with writing the tasting note. Here’s what they came up with:
Colour: Ruby red.
Nose: Forrest wood, vanilla and berry fruits.
Palate: Currants, berries and tobacco with a soft texture and nice dry finish.
The bottle was completely drained so it’s safe to say they enjoyed it!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
