Pinelli Estate Wines La Tavola 2017 Grenache

Naturally, if there’s any excuse to pop a bottle we’ll do it! Yesterday was International Grenache Day so we had a look in the cellar and pulled out this Pinelli Estate Wines La Tavola 2017 Grenache from Perth’s Swan Valley.

I ordered this on my last Perth trip. We were actually hoping to visit again this year but will postpone till next year. Thanks COVID.

And boy it went down a treat! From it’s juicy garnet colour in the glass to delicious notes of cranberries, cherries and spice on the nose. It also had a yummy whiff of black olives to me. In the mouth it’s ultra smooth and rounded with plenty of flavour. We decided ‘lip smackingly good’ summed it up.
