6Ft6 Chardonnay 2020 – Geelong

Reach for the stars in 2021

And by that I mean, reach for the wine 😉

We recently picked up this bottle of 6Ft6 2020 Chardonnay for about $20 and it was darn right delicious. To put it simply.

It’s fermented with wild yeast in a combination of cement eggs and hogsheads. We had it with a cheeseboard and crackers which was the perfect delicious combo in my opinion.

The wine itself is a brilliant yellow with a golden flicker to it. On the nose it’s rather tropical with hints of pawpaw, cashew nuts and it has a lovely limey-ness to it. In the mouth it’s fresh and fruity but a little bit voluptuous too. Think apricot, vanilla and refreshing citrus.
