James Estate 2017 Rose Upper Hunter Valley
I decided to get creative in the kitchen on Friday night and made a salmon, lime and sriracha recipe from the latest Dish magazine (so good! I’ll definitely be making it again) whilst cracking into the latest release of the James Estate rosé which I was sent a #sample of to try.
This 2017 rosé wine is made in the Hunter Valley and is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. If you like pale coloured dry rosés then this is right up your alley!
In the glass, it’s a pale peachy silver colour. Wild berries, watermelon and fresh lemon come through on the nose while in the mouth there’s a hint of spice, lemon zest and cranberries. Yum!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
