Watershed Shades Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2017

I remember visiting Watershed Premium Wines on my first trip to Margaret River in 2013. We had a wonderful tasting and lunch.

This Shades 2017 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon (SBS) is part of Wine Selectors 2019 Calendar Collection case – which would make a really great Christmas gift for the wine and food lover in your life.

The matching recipe from Chef Andrea Gasparini is Chargrilled Octopus, Chorizo, Capsicum and Almond Cream – yum!

In the glass, the Shades is a crisp lemon-lime shade. You can definitely tell it’s Sauv Blanc dominated with passionfruit, tropical fruits, florals and herbaceous characters rising from the glass. In the mouth think juicy pears, star fruit, citrus and some fresh light herbs. Definitely a great match for seafood.
