Pinelli Estate 2018 Breanna Rosé
I’m seeing pink!! We recently ordered a couple of cases of Pinelli Estate Wines from the Swan Valley particularly because we wanted to get our hands on this award-winning 2018 Rosé.
Learn more about Rosé wine and how it’s made.
The wine is named after winemaker, Daniel Pinelli’s daughter, Breanna Rose and is made from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. Here are 7 things you may not already know about Cabernet Sauvignon.
This 2018 vintage picked up gold and the previous vintages have attracted silver medals, so it’s safe to say Pinelli know a thing or two about making great rosé. I wonder if we’ll see a sparkling rosé in the future….?
27 January 2019 Tasting Note:
It’s an eye-catching peachy pink colour. The aromas make me think of rose petals, Turkish delight, citrus and fresh herbs. While in the mouth it’s simply refreshing. Think juicy watermelon with crisp acidity and graceful dryness. One glass is never enough.
PS: It matched really well with the Soleo 38% Milk Chocolate by Cuvee Chocolate.
28 October 2018 Tasting Note:
In the glass, I found the 2018 Breanna Rosé a peachy pale pink shade. While on the nose it’s vibrant and full of delicious scents of fresh raspberries, crunchy apples and a hint of orange citrus. In the mouth, it’s super crisp and clean with notes of tropical fruits and a red berry finish. Delectable!
