Lou Miranda Estate 2018 Old Vine Grenache
Why did I picture this wine with a door handle? Well, it’s because I wanted to sneak the bottle off to a locked room where I wouldn’t have to share a drop of it! This is one helluva delicious wine and there’s simply not enough in the bottle to share!
Introducing the Lou Miranda Estate Barossa Valley 2018 Old Vine Grenache. When we say ‘old’ we are referring to the 101-year-old vines from which the fruit comes from.

It’s a ruby red/maroon shade in the glass. It has the most amazing aromatics on it, that are simply jumping out of the glass. Think fresh raspberries and black cherries with some earthiness and vanilla. It smells like the perfect mix of everything delicious and oozes complexity. In the mouth, it’s juicy and cherry-filled with a creamy texture and an incredible flavour that hangs around a long time after you swallow. Wow. I’m in love!
Thank you to the team at Lou Miranda who shared this amazing sample with me.
