Logan 2016 Cabernet Merlot – Orange, NSW
You’ve got to love the embroidery look of this Logan Wines 2016 Cabernet Merlot wine label.
Firstly, a big thanks to Logan Wines in Orange, NSW for sending this sample over for us to try. This is another one I enjoyed with my Mum & Dad over Christmas (if you saw my video of his new cellar, then you may have spotted some older vintages of their wine in there).
In the glass we found it a burgundy red shade. While on the nose there’s plentiful blackberries, blackcurrants, vanilla oak, bark, orange zest and dark chocolate. It’s definitely an interesting nose with so many aromas tempting you into the glass. In the mouth there’s coffee, orange and sweet red and black fruits. It’s full bodied with a moreish fruity finish which lingers.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
