Georgie Orbach Pinot Noir 2018 & 2020 – Riverina
Georgie Orbach 2020 Pinot Noir
Tasted 2 March 2021
Wait till you hear this recommended match from the winemaker…
Enjoy listening to ‘We Will Rock You’ by Queen when sipping the Georgie Orbach Wines 2020 Pinot Noir. Yes that’s right, Georgie’s wines are all about music and wine matching!
Thank you Georgie for this sample of your latest Pinot release! I pulled out my fancy Riedel Pinot glass and enjoyed it while listening to some 80s tunes, including Queen as suggested. And I agree, it was a lyrically delicious match 😉
This one I presume will retail for $15 when released – please correct me if I’m wrong Georgie.
Currently if you subscribe on the Georgie Orbach website you can get $10 off any order of 6 bottles or more across the entire range.
My own personal opinion:
We found this Pinot Noir a pretty garnet colour in the glass. Plums, cherries, red berries and sweet spices entice you into the glass. While in the mouth it’s fruity yet farmy with a hint of smoke.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

Georgie Orbach 2018 Pinot Noir
Tasted: 10 June 2020
Introducing the new Georgie Orbach Wines 2018 Riverina Pinot Noir. A massive thanks to the lovely Georgie for sending us this sample.
Mr Spittoon and I met winemaker Georgie around this time last year in Melbourne and have tried a few of her wines now. This Pinot retails for $15 and Georgie suggests to enjoy it ‘while listening to Another One Bites The Dust by Queen.’
It also goes well with Netflix 😉
In the glass it’s a juicy red plum colour. On the nose it’s über fruity with cherry and berry notes alongside a whiff of vanilla and cedar. It’s incredibly easy drinking with satin like tannins, fantastically balanced and is a bit of a cherry bomb if you ask me. I also like the mouth puckering finish. Yum!
