Monday nights are better when Holly is around!
A big thanks to Hollydene Estate Wines in the Hunter Valley for this fun bottle of 2020 Rosé bubbles.
It’s made from 40% Shiraz and 60% Semillon and is made by the “Charmat” method aka the ‘tank method’. Which means fermentation occurs inside of stainless steel tanks rather than in the bottle.
Holly sits at 12.6% abv and sells for $27 via the Hollydene website. She’s closed with a crown cap and between you and me, it’s a fantastic tipple for coconut and chilli fish tacos.
In the glass Holly’s a pretty pinky peach colour with notes of fluffy strawberry marshmallows, creamy marscapone and lemon and lime sherbet on the nose. In the mouth it’s darn scrumptious. Fruity, zesty and peachy. Thanks for making my Monday better Holly!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
