The Red Wine Diet
I’m the type of person who likes to talk about diets and to imagine the results but i never really seem to be the type of person who ends up enduring a proper diet. I would actually prefer to run 20kms a day and eat with benefits than stave myself on raw foods. I mean hellooooooo who said wine cannot be part of a get-healthy diet plan; it is made from grapes after all.
The man we need to thank ladies and gentleman is Brendan McCarthy – Fitness Consultant to the stars. Celebs such as Julia Roberts and Penelope Cruz have lost up to six kilos on his ‘alcohol added’ groundbreaking diet plan – “The Red Wine Diet”. The plan involves not one but two glasses of red wine per night – that means 14 glasses of vino a week, wohhhooooo! Now I’m not really fussed on the rest of the diet plan, actually I think I would literally be the grumpiest person alive if I even attempted it, but the concept behind it is rather intriguing.
Basically Mr. Fitness says that the red wine is allowed at the end of the day due to the antioxidants it provides as well as reducing cholesterol and helping blast fat. So whether you have the passion to endure the diet or rather just like the thought more than the actual thing – the conclusion to today’s story is that, maybe that AFD (Alcohol-Free-Day) is not really helping your health like a glass of red wine could.
