Z Wine Mae Riesling 2019 Eden Valley
Riesling & Calasparra rice-crusted sardines with green beans and chorizo (recipe courtesy of Chef Miguel Maestre) – how does that sound?
I do love a good wine and food combo. In fact I mostly choose what to drink and then I base what I’m going to cook/order off that. Does anyone else do that?
This Riesling and recipe collection is part of Wine Selectors The Chef Collection the Crazy Bull white wine 6-pack which is valued at $183 but is currently $140 DM me for the link!
I was kindly sent a media pack to try out and although I couldn’t make all the recipes (due to ingredients not being available around me), it’s safe to say I’ve drooled all over the recipe book.
This Z Wine Mae Riesling 2019 from South Australia is made from Eden Valley fruit and normally retails for $28.
We found it a crisp yellow shade in the glass. Whiffs of minerality, lime and honey blossom rise from the glass while in the mouth it’s super refreshing with lovely lime and saline notes. Crunchy and thirst quenching.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
