Introducing the Eden Valley 2017 Gewürztraminer from Temple Bruer Wines ‘The Agonist’ small batch range.
This range is:
Hand-picked & single vineyard
Agonist derived from late Latin word agnista, means contender. By definition, an agonist is a muscle that contracts while another relaxes, an agonist produces an action while others sit idle. An agonist is also an advocate or champion of a particular cause
or idea, a catalyst for change.
Inspired by our long-standing dedication to sustainable practices, The Agonist range is the romantic anthology between organic farming and scientific enquiry” – via Temple Bruer Organic Wines.
I found this Gewürzt a pale yellow diamond shade in the glass. The nose evokes thoughts of quince, mango and honeyed florals. While in the mouth it nearly has a syrupy texture yet is fresh and full of citrus vibrancy. That floralness from the nose comes through on the palate too. I need more Gewürzt in my life! RRP $26.

We recently cracked this sample of the Irvine Wines 2017 ‘The Estate’ Shiraz from the Eden Valley and it was the perfect classy tipple to enjoy before going out on our weekly date night. Continue reading →
