Jane Brook Estate Wines Plain Jane Rose

Jane Brook Estate Wines in Perth’s Swan Valley have just released their new Plain Jane Rosé and have kindly sent Mr Spittoon and I a sample bottle to taste (thank you!).

This Rosé is a blend of Shiraz from the Swan Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Margaret River.

Immediately when I saw the colour it made me feel Christmassy. How gorgeous would it look on the Christmas lunch table.

And you know what’s even better? It’s bloody delicious too!

From it’s juicy cranberry red colour to the aromas of fresh red fruits and lemon citrus you simply can’t turn down a taste. In the mouth those red berries (especially raspberry) flow and crisp citrus notes. Deliciously dry and incredibly moreish.

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
