Lightfoot & Sons Rosé


Lightfoot and Sons 2018 Rose GippslandI have to admit, I’m a sucker for the Lightfoot & Sons Wines Rosé! This was my first sip of the new 2018 vintage and this Pinot Noir rosé is still a firm favourite.

2018 was a good vintage for the Victorian wineries here in Gippsland with spot on climate for ripening grapes. The Pinot grapes for this Rosé come from their Myrtle Point Vineyard which is Terra Rosa over limestone soil. Once harvested, the grapes are crushed by foot.

Touché Rosé: Australia’s Largest Rosé Wine Event – My Highlights


Touche RoseOn Friday I attended Touché Rosé – Australia’s largest rosé event with over 65 rosés to try from Australian and international producers! It was a night of drinking pink and I loved it! It was such a great way to show the diversity of rosé wine.
