Lightfoot & Sons Rosé
I have to admit, I’m a sucker for the Lightfoot & Sons Wines Rosé! This was my first sip of the new 2018 vintage and this Pinot Noir rosé is still a firm favourite.
2018 was a good vintage for the Victorian wineries here in Gippsland with spot on climate for ripening grapes. The Pinot grapes for this Rosé come from their Myrtle Point Vineyard which is Terra Rosa over limestone soil. Once harvested, the grapes are crushed by foot.
In the glass, it’s a pretty silver coral colour. The nose and palate are full of elegant fresh fruits, crisp soft acidity and mouthwatering deliciousness. #micdrop
Enough said. It’s very yummy!
