I’m a sucker for a good Riesling. This Millon Wines ‘The Impressionist’ 2018 Riesling is made in South Australia’s Eden Valley and by gawd I love that label. So darn pretty don’t you think?
The Eden Valley is about 75kms from Adelaide. It’s known for its cooler climate and higher than average altitudes which are great for growing Riesling grapes. Continue reading

Pulled pork bao buns and a Pinot Gris + Riesling + Gewurtztraminer white blend, what’s not to like about that combo.
I didn’t realise how easy and quick bao buns are to make at home, I think I’ll be making these more often plus this bottle of Empirica by Castelli Estate Wines 2018 Fiore Del Campo made an excellent accompaniment and likewise so did the spicy potato pizza we enjoyed with the other half of the bottle for dinner.
