Voyager Estate 2017 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Hands up if you love wine from WA.

I was excited to find this Voyager Estate 2017 SBS in my recent media sample box from Good Pair Days (thank you!).

Voyager Estate have been making wine for over 40 years in WA’s Margaret River wine region. While living in WA I had a fantastic visit to Voyager for a tour, tasting and degustation lunch – it was a brilliant day and I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re in the region.

Voyager are carbon neutral, certified sustainable and pesticide-free.

This SBS is a pale lemon colour in the glass. On the nose it’s full of tropical fruits and citrus with a hint of toastiness. In the mouth those flavours flow through with a lick of minerality and sprinkle of herbs. Vegetal and fruity all at the same time.
