It’s made from the Grenache (60%) and Mourvèdre (40%) grape varieties and comes from the Tahbilk vineyards in Nagambie Lakes, Central Victoria (read more about the wineries of Victoria). 2018 was considered a very good vintage and Tahbilk have predicted it as a great year for their reds.
In the glass, it’s a pale pinky-silver shade with passionfruit, red berries, sweet orange and a hint of musk lollies on the nose. In the mouth, it’s fresh and crisp with those red berries and citrus coming through. There’s also a hint of tannin dryness. More please!
This one retails for $21.50 per bottle.
