Happy Fizzy Friday wine-lovers! And before you ask, my sparkling jacket is from Little Party Dress.
We’re sipping on Cava aka Spanish Sparkling Wine thanks to the lovely folks at Good Pair Days who kindly sent us this sample.
Yet again another fabulous pick by GPD based on the results of their Palate Quiz I took on their website.
This Cavarnicola NV Rosé is from the home of Cava in Spain – the Penedes region. We visited the region back in 2011 and I’d highly recommend going when/if you can.
Cavarnicola are certified organic and this stand out bottle of rosé is made from Trepat 34%, Garnacha 33% and Monastrell 33% grapes.
We found it a lovely peach shade in the glass with lovely nutty savouriness along berries and cherries, candied apples and citrus. It also has a rather vivacious mouthfeel/mousse much like the bottle design.
If you’re keen to try this sparkler and join the Good Pair Days monthly wine subscription with me, make sure to use the promo code “travellingcorkscrew” at checkout for a fab discount.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it. By using the above promo code I will receive a small amount of commission.
