Beklyn 2016 Shiraz
On the 6th day of Christmas, The Wine Gallery sent to me, a bottle of Beklyn 2016 Shiraz from McLaren Vale, SA.
It also came with a sample of the Vino Bites Christmas Coulis which I can’t wait to try. Any suggestions on how I should use it? I’m thinking either on turkey or with cheese.
It’s a blackberry jam colour in the glass. Notes of smooth oak, red & black fruits, new rubber and pepper spice float up from the glass. While in the mouth it’s smooth and plummy with black cherries covered in chocolate and a hint of coffee on the finish. Not too bad with Cadbury Magical Elves too FYI!
