Valdo Marca Oro Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco
Once I pop, I can’t stop. Does that happen to anyone else with Prosecco?
We recently came across this Valdo Marca Oro Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco at a gourmet food & wine shop/cafe in Sale called Hunting Ground. It’s such a little gem of a store! At $22 a bottle, it went down a treat.
In the glass, it’s virtually clear with a slight yellow-green tinge to it. When I lifted the glass to take in the aromas it immediately made me feel like I was walking through an orchard with whiffs of apples, leaves & flowers and fresh air. The nose foreshadows the palate with plentiful apple flavours alongside edible flowers and refreshing citrus.
