Champagne Aubert et Fils Brut Rose
Pink champagne and chips, what’s not to love! This is about sums up me on a Friday after work.
I picked up this $33 rosé champagne from Dan Murphy’s. I figured since I was buying champagne chips that I had to have a matching drink!
I have used the non-rose version of this champagne in a Champagne Pancakes recipe you can drool over here >>
It’s made from the classic champagne grapes – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. For the price, it’s darn drinkable.
In the glass, it’s a peachy pink colour. On the nose it makes me think of toffee apples, maraschino cherries, and wonderfully refreshing lemon and orange zest. While in the mouth it’s got red fruits like cranberries and lovely crisp citrus acidity.
Not bad after a big week in the office!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Ahh so you are the one who has consumed it all John 😉 Haha glad to hear you enjoy it!
Casey,
The Aubert et fils rose champagne is outstanding for the price. I cannot get it anywhere at the moment – sold out across the country although a few retailers tell me this is the case with most French champagne which is now starting to reappear.
I bought all of the stock that was available in Adelaide through the Dan Murphy’s chain.
