When choosing what types of wine to include in my Wine Selectors Customised Plan trial pack, I couldn’t go past the ‘Mediterranean Reds’ category. This category includes wines made from the likes of Barbera, Dolcetto, Mourvedre / Mataro, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. The 2018 ‘Rosé is the new black’ is a collab between The Wine Gallery and Hedonist Wines in SA’s McLaren Vale region. It’s made from a blend of Sangiovese and Grenache grapes.
Mr. Spittoon and I enjoyed it with this new Kettle Corn Chips that also came in this month’s box. Those jalapeño, chili and Manuka honey ones are awesome! Plus the chips went well with the rosé on the deck! Continue reading
