Ninth Island Tasmania Chardonnay 2017
We’ve booked our flights to Tasmania!! I can’t wait! While doing some planning the other day we cracked into this Ninth Island 2017 Chardonnay from Tazzie to get our taste buds in the mood.

Ninth Island is part of the Kreglinger Wines portfolio. Made from Tamar Valley grapes (north end of Tazzie), this wine range is named after a tiny island that sits in the Bass Strait called Ninth Island.
In the glass, it’s a pale lemon shade. On the nose, it makes me think of stonefruit, minerality and fresh lemongrass. While in the mouth it’s wonderfully juicy and easy drinking with notes of peach, lychee and a nip of grapefruit. Yum, I can’t wait to get stuck into more Tasmanian wines in a few months.
We bought this at Dan Murphy’s for $19.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
