Lou Miranda Estate Leone Shiraz 2016

According to my Vivino profile, this will be my 86th Aussie Shiraz tasting note. It seems like I like a bit of Shiraz.

This Lou Miranda Estate Leone 2016 Shiraz is a new release. It comes from SA’s Barossa Valley and retails for $25. I love this line on the back label:

Serve with roast dinner with family, love and laughter”

In the glass, it’s a deep purple-y red colour. Notes of black and red currant, white pepper and vanilla rise from the glass. While in the mouths it’s extremely fruit forward with hints of creamy vanilla, dark chocolate and tannins linger on the finish.
