Champagne Bichat Brut
‘Sparkle like champagne’ is a pretty good motto if you ask me. This bottle of Champagne Bichat Brut I picked up for $25 from BWS. I was looking for a cheap and cheerful Prosecco but instead spotted this and thought we’d give it a whirl.
In the glass, it’s a golden-lemon colour with sherbet, vanilla biscuits and grapefruit on the nose. In the mouth, it’s smooth and creamy with fruity notes, hints of baking spice and a slurp of crisp lemon. A refreshing bubbles at a decent price point.
