It was the “generous aromas of mulberries, dusted with exotic Indian spices” descriptor that made me intrigued to try this Chapel Hill ‘The Parson’ 2017 Shiraz from McLaren Vale.
I can’t say I picked up on those Indian spices but I did find the nose rather earthy and fresh with a hint of menthol. In the mouth I found it very easy drinking with a soft, plush nature and plentiful flavours of plums with a sprinkling of spice.
