Handpicked Wines Tasmanian NV Sparkling Wine
There were just a few bottles of bubbles popped at our house over the last few weeks.
I was kindly sent this bottle of Tasmanian NV Sparkling from the good folks at Handpicked Wines to taste recently (thank you!). I really wanted to get some mussels to go with it as the label had me craving some, however my eagerness to get stuck into the bottle meant we simply enjoyed it as an aperitif.
- The grapes come from an organically managed vineyard
- Can be cellared up to 6 years approx.
- 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend
Read more about this bubbles on the Hanpicked website where you can also buy it online for $35.
We found it a white gold shade in the glass with fresh, zesty aromas of lemon sherbet and white flowers. It’s dry, crisp and has wonderfully refreshing acidity on the palate. Perfect for a hot summery day with a feast of seafood.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
