Logan Wines Clementine Blushing Minnie Pinots 2018

Introducing the 2018 Clementine Blushing Minnie Pinots from Logan Wines. This juicy red wine is a blend of whole bunch fermented Pinot Noir (70%), Pinot Gris fermented on skins (20%) and Pinot Meunier (10%).

I have already posted my tasting notes for the other two wines in this lively Clementine trio of premium cool climate wines named after the winemaker’s daughter, Clementine ‘Minnie’ Logan (Logan Wines Clementine Pinot Gris 2018 &  Logan Wines Clementine de la Mer 2018). It was a nice warm day here so we had this bright ruby red wine slightly chilled. The nose is full of juicy cherries, orange rind and baking spice. While in the mouth it’s light and inviting with juicy fruitiness and a hint of soft drying tannin on the finish. Highly enjoyable – a great red for the summer months in my opinion.
