John Kosovich White Field Blend 2019 – Swan Valley
If you’re in Perth and haven’t yet visited the John Kosovich cellar door in the Swan Valley, put it on your to do list this summer! Not only is it a very cool cellar door to visit (it’s underground!) but the wines are amazingly delicious and the John Kosovich Wines team are fantastic to chat to.
Paula kindly sent over this 2019 Field Blend for us to try recently (thank you!).
It’s an interesting blend of Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes were all selected and picked all on the same day and processed together as a single batch.
I made a Malaysian mie goreng from a recipe in the Dish Magazine to match this wine and I can confirm it matched wonderfully with the meal and also for the chef while cooking.
The wine itself is a pale yellow-green with crisp aromas of snow peas, crunchy pears & apples, pretty florals and light citrus. It smells like summer In the mouth it’s 100% moreish. It’s fresh, juicy and deliciously zippy.
This delicious little number sells for $24 at the cellar door.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
