Jim Barry JB 2018 Rose – Clare Valley
Do you try to avoid wines with preservatives in? Well this Jim Barry ‘JB’ 2018 Clare Valley Rosé has ‘minimal preservatives added’.
It was one of the Rosé’s in my recent sample rosé subscription delivery from Cellarmasters (thank you so much!). This subscription is brand new and is for us Rosé lovers. You get a delivery of 12 bottles of rosé 3 times a year and each case costs only $156, so approx $13 a bottle – bargain!
This JB Rosé is made from 100% Grenache.
We found it a fluorescent onion skin colour in the glass. Notes of fresh strawberries, juicy watermelon and refreshing lime rise from the glass and entice you in. While in the mouth there’s some red fruit sweetness alongside plenty of zesty acidity to quench your thirst on a hot summers day.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
