Shopping for wine lovers just got a whole lot easier – Meet eBay Collections
Not only do I love wine, but I love to accessorize my wine collection too. I don’t know how many hours I have spent online browsing different online wine shops and wine accessories online. I mean seriously, can a girl really have too many corkscrews? Never!
Recently I was introduced to the new eBay Collections by the Nuffnang Blog Advertising Community. Bloggers were asked to play the role of shopping obsessed guinea pigs to start creating collections based around their passions. In return for curating 5 collections showcasing their passions and abiding by certain rules of conduct their collections were awarded with a $100 payment. So what do I think of the experience personally? To be honest with you, I am slightly addicted! To me it’s like an eCommerce version of Pinterest. You create fantastic collections based around a certain theme and people can view these collections and share your love. It’s just better than Pinterest because you can actually buy the items right away!! Okay maybe it’s not so good for the bank account, but it may make gift shopping and Christmas shopping a whole lot easier.
So naturally all my collections are based around my absolutely favourite subject in the whole wide world, WINE! So far I have eBay collections based around the themes of; red wine, wine storage, funny wine presents, Champagne, Chardonnay and my favourite wine accessories. Check out my eBay Collections here.
Other than spending a few too many hours working on my own awesome wine collections, I am loving browsing through other people’s collections. It’s a great way to help people who are less knowledgable in areas, such as me with interior design, to know what types of items and colours work well with each other. Plus it’s a great way to uncover fabulous products that you never knew existed before.
I’m also thinking it might be a great way to put a wish list together. Whether it is a wish list for your upcoming birthday or Christmas list for Santa! Or perhaps it can be used as a wedding gift registry!
Before now I haven’t used eBay a lot, really only for those times when I can’t find something specific anywhere in the mall so my only option is online shopping and I’m uncertain which online retailer to buy through. Ebay makes life a lot easier at times like this. I guess I don’t use it so much as I tend to find it so time consuming trying to sift through what seems like so many crappy items to find what I’m looking for.
However now that eBay collections are in place, someone else has done all that crappy sifting for me to find the best products.

Once you have an eBay account set up you can then join the community and follow people whose taste you love (naturally Travelling Corkscrew’s wine collections are the best place to start!).
