BAIE Wines 2020 Rose – Bellarine Peninsula
We had perfect weather on the weekend for a bit of paddling pool & Rosé action in the backyard. Baby TC was happy, I was happy, it was win-win.
The Rosé I decided to crack into was this BAIE Wines 2020 Rosé from here on the Bellarine Peninsula in VIC. Being a cool climate region, Pinot Noir thrives which is why this Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
I found it a pale pinky peach colour on the eye. On the nose it’s fresh and gives me a bit of a punch vibe with aromas of fresh strawberries, mandarins and lemons. That elegant punch, summer garden party vibe flows through to the palate where it’s a little tropical, a little bit berry-filled and a little bit citrusy. Super easy drinking and thirst quenching.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
