The Best Celebrity-Owned Wines in 2022
If you’re like me, then you have probably bought and tried a few wines which are either owned by a celebrity or endorsed by a celeb. It’s amazing how many celebrities actually own wine brands, from the likes of Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, to Kylie Minogue, Cameron Diaz and even Gordon Ramsay!
Which is why when I came across a recent study by money.co.uk on the best value celebrity-owned alcohol – I simply had to share the findings with you all!
The research analysed the average cost of wines owned by celebrities and compared that with their star ratings on wine app Vivino to discover which ones are the best value for money based on consumer taste buds. Please see more details about the methodology at the bottom of this post.
Each wine was then given a score out of 100 with Idris Elba’s Porte Noire Cotes de Provence Rosé taking the top spot!
Idris’s rosé is certified organic, vegan-friendly and even claimed the “Best in Show” award at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2020! Unfortunately, like many of the below it’s not available in Australia – but maybe in the future it will be, otherwise look out for them when overseas.

More details about the methodology of the study:
By creating a long list* of celebrity-owned wines and liquor, money.co.uk sourced the average cost and correlated that with their ratings on critic sites such as Vivino.com. Prices were averages listed on wine-searcher.com based on 750ml.
To create an index, each price and each rating was allocated their own score (both up to 50), to give an overall score out of 100.
