Yarra Burn 2019 King Valley Prosecco
Yay for 5 weeks old this week! And sticking with tradition, Mr Spittoon and I celebrated with a bottle of bubbly 🙂
This week we cracked into this sample bottle of the Yarra Burn 2019 Prosecco from the King Valley. You can find it at Dan Murphy’s for around $17.
Yarra Burn’s winemaker is none other than Australia’s most awarded sparkling winemaker – Ed Carr.
This Prosecco was a great weekday tipple, easy drinking and uncomplicated.
We found it a pale lemon lime shade in the glass. Vibrant citrus notes and freshly cut apple aromas rise from the glass with a bit of a honeysuckle floral whiff in there too. In the mouth it’s smooth with fine bubbles and notes of apple, pear, lime zest and white peach coming through.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
