The Nut House Wine Co Shiraz – Curtis Family Vineyards
Shiraz! Wine not I say. It’s a great food-friendly wine and also great by itself.
I received this free sample from The Nut House Wine Co which is part of the Curtis Family Vineyards (thank you!!) who have been making wines in McLaren Vale, South Australia since 1973.
To be honest, Mr Spittoon consumed most of this when I wasn’t looking. The sneaky bugger.
So I got him to write a tasting note on it. Here’s what he text me:
Hue: ruby
Aroma: pomegranate, dried prunes, blackberries
Palate: subtle tannin’s, smooth mouth, caramel forest berries
Sounds pretty good to me! And it was, very tasty!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
