Terranu 2017 Chardonnay – Adelaide Hills
Anyone else enjoy wine tasting in the bath?
Saturday nights for me look like this. And you know what, I’m totally cool with it. Wine, books and bubble baths.
It’s even better when the wine in question is a Chardonnay. I received this Terranu Wines 2017 Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills as a sample (thank you!).
Here’s some fun facts about Chardonnay:
- International Chardonnay Day will be the 27th of May this year (its celebrated every year on the Thursday before the US Memorial Day thanks to the creator Rick Bakas)
- It’s the world’s most planted white wine grape
- It can be made in a range of styles from dry to sweet, still to sparkling

We found this Terranu Chardonnay a pale golden yellow shade in the glass. Lovely hints of oak intertwined with florals, creamy butter and orchard fruits come through on the nose. While in the mouth it’s deliciously rounded with nice refreshing acidity and a long lingering finish.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
