Taltarni 2018 Tasmanian Pinot Noir
I think I’m always in the mood for Pinot Noir. It’s just so darn easy to consume. We recently enjoyed a sample bottle of the Taltarni Tasmanian 2018 Pinot Noir over a bowl of pasta in front of the telly. It was exactly what I need after a day of mum & small business owner life.
The hand-picked grapes come from the Coal River Valley region in Tassie and the wine has been matured for 18 months in old French oak barrels prior to being released. For $32, it’s a great buy.
It’s an incredibly lightly coloured ruby red Pinot. There’s plentiful juicy red fruits, spice and notes of bark that rise up from the glass. In the mouth it’s full of delicious strawberry, pomegranate and cherry flavours and it goes down an absolute treat.
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
