Well, it’s my first day back to work today for 2019 and I’m pretty excited for what the year has in store for me. A definite highlight for 2019 already was enjoying this bottle of Champagne Perrier-Jouët 2004 Belle Époque Blanc de Blancs Champagne at the highest open-air champagne bar in the world, Flute at Lebua Hotel in Bangkok on the 64th floor. When we visited the Blue Gables Vineyard cellar door earlier this year they were sold out of this sparkling wine made with Chardonnay and Pinot Gris grapes – I was guttered as I really wanted to try it!
Recently I came across a bottle of it at The Hunting Ground in Sale for $40 and I couldn’t resist. I have to admit, I thought the $40 price tag was a bit steep initially, however, after trying it, I’ll definitely be buying it again! Continue reading
Yeah, so I did it. I had Chardonnay with my lunch today. Having a wine with lunch on a Friday back when I worked for someone seemed totally fine, however now I work for myself, from home, I’ve just never really done it.
